Transign, originally established in 1959 is the leading manufacturer of original equipment destination signs, mechanisms and printed curtains in North America. We supply coach manufacturers and dealers located throughout the United States and Canada with top of the line destination and stop requested signs and run number boxes.
In addition to the transit market, Transign also produces products for the commercial market. Large scroll signs display multicolor information and advertising for stadiums, shopping malls, airports, etc.
Dell Fields has been with the company for over 46 years and it would be hard to find another individual in the industry that knows more about transit destination signs than him. He is responsible for the development and patents of the original flip dot system controller, known as the "Message Monitor" in 1974.
